Stanford has been ranked number 17 coming into this game.

ESPN.com says:

It's certain that Luck will be on Stanford's side when the Cardinal visit Notre Dame. Stanford QB Andrew Luck will look to give the Cardinal their first win in South Bend since 1992 and their first 4-0 start since 1986. The Fighting Irish have never lost two straight to Stanford.

Stanford may have won its last game against Notre Dame in this series last year, but Notre Dame owned this series, winning the 7 prior games.  Stanford’s win was at home.

The Cardinal are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game.

They are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 vs. INDEP.

The Fighting Irish are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win.

The Fighting Irish are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game.
