Saturday’s Sun Bowl betting odds had Arizona State as a -7 favorite going up against Duke.  You can bet this game at AceSportsbook.com and claim thousands of dollars of free cash here.

Both teams have identical records coming into this game at 9-3 Straight Up.  Duke has fared better Against The Spread going 7-4-1 while AZ State is just 6-6 ATS. Each of these teams have had two losses out of their final three games of the regular season.

ESPN.com notes that the best matchup here will be the Sun Devils’ high-powered offense versus Blue Devils’ top 25 defense.

The Sun Devils are making their fifth Sun Bowl appearance while attempting to post back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time since 1970-73.

"This is a great opportunity for us to compete against a top-notch program and close out the 2014 season on a high note," coach Todd Graham said.

The Sun Devils are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a Straight Up loss but are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games on turf.  The Blue Devils are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win.

Nearly 65% of the betting action was on the Sun Devils here.  Despite that, the trend has been for the line to continue dropping from where it initially opened at -9.
