Additionally Sportsbook.com had odds on the OVER/UNDER viewership number, which was set at 112 million (the UNDER had EVEN odds).

The past three Super Bowls have been the most watched television shows in history and this year’s game is expected to shatter those records.

Last year’s Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers attracted an estimated 111,346 viewers, a slight increase over the previous year of 111,010.

The Seahawks last played in the Super Bowl in 2006, attracting early 5 million more viewers than the year prior.

When the Broncos made the Super Bowl in 1997, they attracted another 2 million viewers, though they lost around 6 million playing Atlanta in the following year’s Super Bowl.  This could have more to do with Atlanta being among the worst sports markets in the nation however.
