The Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Buffalo Bills odds had Buffalo as a -5 favorite across the board, however, we have seen a few fluctuations with a half point difference either way at around 5 percent of the online sportsbooks.  We should also point out that the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas had the Bills line at -4.  This one opened at -5 ½.

Sportsbetting.com for the time being held onto the -5 line.

Public opinion has the Bills getting around 75 percent of the action in this game.

In their last face off, Cadillac Williams rushed for 128 yards to lead the Buccaneers past the Bills, 19-3, on Sept. 18, 2005.

While both teams lost their first game of the 2009 season, Buffalo and Tampa Bay performed much better than expected.

The Buccaneers hung tough for a while, but could not keep up with the explosive Cowboys in a 34-21 loss while Buffalo led for most of the game, but was undone by a late fumble in a devastating 25-24 defeat at New England.

Byron Leftwich looked sharp as Tampa's quarterback and may be able to carry this team much further than originally anticipated.  He threw for 276 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys.

The real problem remains at the defense where the Bucs gave up 462 total yards to the Cowboys..

This is one team that Gambling911.com will continue to watch closely.  They play in the very competitive NFC South with two teams that had stellar performances last week.  Currently, Tampa Bay would pay 10/1 odds if they could somehow win the division.

For the third consecutive season, the Bills suffered a heartbreaking loss on Monday Night Football. Buffalo must recover quickly from the defeat to avoid starting 0-2 in a very competitive AFC East.  The good news is that quarterback Trent Edwards did everything right and Terrell Owens was hardly a factor in a game where they were beating the mighty Patriots on the road up until the final seconds.

Some important stats to consider here when betting Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo Bills:

The Buccaneers are 1-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

The Buccaneers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The Buccaneers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The Bills are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Too bad it won't be freezing cold up in Buffalo.

This one is a difficult game to call.
