The TCU vs. Minnesota betting line had the Horned Frogs as a big -14.5 point favorite Thursday in a game that will air nationally on ESPN.

TCU comes into this season with 10-1 odds of winning the 2016 College Football Championship.  Only two teams, Ohio State and Alabama, have shorter odds.

When it comes to the Playoffs, there are no guarantees for teams that lose even one game and TCU could have trouble against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on the road and Baylor and West Virginia at home.  The odds of a perfect season look dim when one considers Texas Christian needs to get over these obstacles standing in the way later on this season.

The Horned Frogs are 13-3 Against The Spread in their last 16 games overall and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.  The Golden Gophers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games.
