The Tennessee Titans regular season win total for 2011 featured a line of UNDER 7 -150, meaning the oddsmakers are fairly confident the Titans will have a tough season.

It’s already off to a bad start before its even begun with cornerback Cortland Finnegan disappearing during training camp.  He claimed “family issues”, denying reports he was holding out for more money.

“My absence had nothing to do with a holdout yet a personal matter that Titan officials were aware of.  I am grateful for being a Titan,” Finnegan wrote while blaming the media for what he said was a misunderstanding. “I am also thankful for my current contract and direction of team. It’s obvious media had no idea of why my absence took place.  I have spoken with coaches and teammates and will resume all things asked. Sad to see media made this out to be about money when I’m happy.”

The latest flap follows Tennessee letting go of its long time head coach Jeff Fisher and troubled quarterback Vince Young.
