The Vols offense will have a much different look in Butch Jones’ second season. They lost all five linemen and have an uninspired competition between QBs Justin Worley (6.3 YPA, 10 TD, 8 INT) and Joshua Dobbs (5.7 YPA, 2 TD, 6 INT). The winner of that battle will have plenty of weapons at receiver, including potential breakout star WR Marquez North (38 rec, 496 yds), top recruit Josh Malone and JUCO transfer Von Pearson. The defense, especially in the secondary, will undergo wholesale changes after opponents ran past them for most of last season. The potential emergence of DE Corey Vereen (13 tackles) would be a big help to the lackluster pass defense. The linebacking corps is solid, led by LB A.J. Johnson (106 tackles, 8.5 TFL).
