Texans Odds to Win 2015 Super Bowl at 45-1 Following Clowney Pick
BetDSI.com has given the Houston Texans 45-1 odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl following the franchise selection of Jadeveon Clowney as the number one pick at this year’s NFL Draft.
Marc Sessler of NFL.com noted that Houston “ignored the quarterback position Thursday night in favor of the most electrifying and fearsome defensive prospect around”.
Clowney is likely to make an immediate impact upon joining the Texans this upcoming season.
Phil Perry of Comcast Sports:
Clowney's been knocked for his lack of consistent effort, but he's so powerful, and he could be such a disruptive force coming off the defensive line that his promise proved too much to pass on for Houston head coach Bill O'Brien.
Paired with arguably the best defensive lineman in the league -- JJ Watt -- Clowney could make an immediate impact and help the Texans regain the form that helped them go 13-3 in the 2012 regular season.
Odds of a Super Bowl win would be much shorter if only they had a quarterback. Keep an eye on this situation sports bettors and get ready to pull the trigger if need be or lock this price in now.
