The Texans-Saints line has opened at -4.5 in favor of the home town New Orleans Saints.  Very early action had about 70 percent of those betting the spread backing New Orleans.

The Saints beat the Chicago Bears at home on Sunday by a score of 30-13.

"Today, we knew the formula ourselves for winning this game. That was establishing the run, being patient, but also calling some shots, and hey, if it's there, we need to take full advantage,” New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees said following the game.

The Saints come into their Week 3 game 1-1 after a Week 1 loss to Green Bay.  They will face off against an undefeated Texans team that beat an Indianapolis Colts team that is without Peyton Manning and a Miami Dolphins team that does not play well at home.  This week’s game will certainly be Houston’s biggest test of the season.

"We've been here before in this situation," said Pro Bowler Andre Johnson, who is in his ninth season with Houston. "Our goal is to go 1-0 every week."
