Texans-Titans Line at -1: Spread Action Has Houston Getting 85 Percent

The Texans-Titans line had Tennessee at -1 at the majority of online sportsbooks coming into Saturday morning, however, the trend was to move the line towards -2.  85 percent of the spread action was on Houston.  47.5 was the total with 75 percent of the backing on the OVER.

This was a pretty meaningless game for all but the sports bettors as the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts compete to determine which team will win the disappointing AFC South.  In past years, this was among the more competitive divisions in terms of all teams having a fair shake.  It looked as if that could be the case this season as well but both Houston and Tennessee have faltered down the stretch.  They each have 5 wins between them.

Houston has covered in three of the last four games in this series.  They shut out Tennessee earlier in the season.  While the Titans might be looking for revenge, this is a team that has lost its last 6 games.  Houston has dropped 6 of their last 7 games.  The Titans have won 7 of the last 10 in this series.

A few trends to review coming into the Texans-Titans game:

The Texans are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

The Texans are 1-5 Against The Spread in their last 6 games following a ATS loss.

The Texans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.

The Texans are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games on grass.

The Titans are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite.

The Titans are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

The Titans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

The Titans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on grass.
