This Thursday Night Football Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans betting preview is courtesy of our friends at SBG Global.  The game goes off Thursday, 8:20 pm Eastern – NFL Network – with Indianapolis a 3-point favorite to win and the total set at 45.

Even though the Indianapolis Colts have lost three straight games they are still in control of their playoff destiny.  The Colts are 6-6 and one game behind Jacksonville in the AFC South but they face the Jaguars again before the NFL season ends.  The Colts can win the division if they can avoid making mistakes, beginning with Thursday night at Tennessee.

The Colts have not lost four straight games in nine years.  If they expect to win on Thursday night they need quarterback Peyton Manning to avoid making mistakes.  Manning is in the midst of the worst stretch of football in his Hall of Fame career. Manning has thrown 11 interceptions in the Colts three-game losing streak.  He may be able to turn things around against the Titans though as in his last three games against Tennessee, Manning has thrown for five TDs with only one interception.  The Colts have no running game with Joseph Addai out with an injury and he will probably miss Thursday’s game.

Tennessee’s problems lately have been on offense as they have a total of six points in their last two games. They have gone 13 quarters without an offensive touchdown. The Titans got Kerry Collins back last week at quarterback but it didn’t matter. He was 14 of 32 for 169 yards with two interceptions against the Jaguars. Running back Chris Johnson has had no room to run as he has just 58 yards in the last two games.

Here are the football betting stats for Thursday’s game. The Colts are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 Thursday games. The Colts are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite. The Colts are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 road games. The Colts are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in December. The Colts are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.

The Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games. The Titans are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a home underdog. The Titans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. the AFC South. The Titans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Titans are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

The Over is 4-0 in the Colts last 4 road games. The Under is 7-0 in the Titans last 7 vs. the AFC South. The Under is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings between the two teams.
