Well Folks, we here at Gambling911.com don’t know what the powers that be were thinking putting this one in primetime Thursday Night but for bettors the Titans vs. Jaguars betting line was coming in at -3.5 with around 80% of the action on Jacksonville, which doesn’t say much for Tennessee.  The line moved up a half point since opening on Sunday.  Find the latest odds here.

Tennessee has beaten Jacksonville in four of the last six meetings.  All but one of the last seven games in this series have been lost by more than 6 points so do expect a close one here and a teaser combined with either another sport or upcoming NFL games might be in order.  Do keep in mind that the Titans are 1-6-1 Against The Spread in their last 8 meetings.

The Titans, for whatever reason, seem to excel on Thursday nights, going 5-1 ATS.  They are, however, 1-8-2 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 3-13-2 ATS in their last 18 vs. AFC.

The Jaguars are 4-11-2 Against The Spread in their last 17 games overall and are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win.

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
