Titans vs. Bucs Betting Line – Week 1: Winston vs. Mariota

The Titans vs. Bucs betting line for 2015 Week 1 had Tampa Bay as a -3 home favorite. 

What would otherwise be among the yawners of Week 1 will actually be one of the most sought after games as the season’s top Draft picks get to work early.  It’s Jameis Winston vs. Marcus Mariota. 

Winston will start for the Bucs. 

Winston does have some powerful weapons, as noted by Athlon Sports:

Winston does have 6-5 targets in Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, a pair of 1,000-yard receivers. Evans was a Rookie of the Year candidate despite missing most of the offseason with a hamstring strain. He had a monster three-game stretch in November in which he caught 21 passes for 458 yards and five touchdowns.

Tampa Bay is hinging everything on the back of Winston just as Tennessee is doing with Mariota.

Tennessee is expected to be one of the worst teams in the league in 2015. 

The total regular season wins was coming in at 5.5 with the OVER priced at -140.  The UNDER may have some value at +110.

We wouldn’t exactly write off Tampa Bay in winning the weak NFC South where they are priced at 7-1 for a potential payout of $700 for every $100 bet.

Tampa Bay is a much bigger favorite to win 6 or more regular season games priced at -195  (terrible value).
