Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has shot down reports that Gary Cahill will be a sought after commodity during the January transfer window.  Tottenham was one of four co-favorites to land Cahill, each with 5/1 odds at Skybet.com and while Tottenham Hotspur was listed at 8/1 at StanleyJames.com.

Redknapp on Monday confirmed in an interview he is satisfied with his current squad.

“I was initially concerned about injuries to some of our defenders, which left us light on the ground. But with William Gallas and Ledley King returning, those concerns have subsided.

"There is absolutely no point in going out and signing players if they can't improve the team. And, as it is, I have enough strength in depth in my squad."

Those players have since recovered and Tottenham is currently sitting with the 3rd best record in the Premier League.

Let’s look at the latest Gary Cahill transfer window betting odds:

Bolton was at 4/5 odds

Chelsea was listed at 4/5 odds

Arsenal, Tottenham, Man United were each listed at 5/1 odds

Man City was at 8/1 odds

Liverpool was at 10/1 odds

Everton was at 16/1 odds
