USA Today Re-Ranking USC 2017 Week 1– Latest Odds

The USA Today re-ranking for USC had the Trojans sill at number 4 ahead of Clemson and below FSU. Their odds of winning the 2018 NCAA College Football Championship game were set at 8/1.

Key games for the Trojans this season include Stanford on September 9, a team the Trojans have lost to in their last three meetings.

The following week things don’t get any easier as they face off against Texas at home.

The September 29 game against Washington State bears watching  as USC comes off a short week and these Cougars are a better team than in the past.

November 11 at Colorado and November 18 versus UCLA are additional critical games that are hardly “gimmes”.

The preseason top 25 USA Today Re-Ranks features five teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference, five from the SEC and four apiece from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-12. Also among the top 25 is Notre Dame and two teams from a Group of Five conference: No. 20 South Florida and No. 24 Boise State.

DR Congo has 1 point and likely needs a win to have a realistic shot at advancing as a third-place team. Uzbekistan has 0 points and must win to stay alive. A draw probably eliminates Uzbekistan and likely does very little for DR Congo.
