Utah vs. West Virginia Heart of Dallas Bowl – What the Line Should Be

Gambling911.com resident bookmaker expert Tony Caliente breaks down the Heart of Dallas Bowl with Utah vs. West Virginia to determine if the line on this game is accurate.

Not exactly the most ideal Bowl game with both teams hovering around the .500 mark to close out the season.

Action though was overwhelmingly favoring the Mountaineers at better than 75% with Utah a -7 favorite.

The line on this game actually moved up from -4 to -7.5, where a few books were holding it well ahead of Tuesday’s game.  Some had dropped back down to -7.

Clearly you don’t want a ton of action on West Virginia only to have the public and wise guys pounce on Utah at -6.5 with the fear this one could land on Utah and a touchdown victory.

The College Football Betting Power Ratings tell us that Utah should only be a -1 favorite here so books are probably hoping there is enough of a balancing act come game time.

In the end this one probably won’t attract a whole lot of action.
