For a team that seems to have so much talent, the Washington Redskins 35/1 odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl are almost too good to be true.  These odds were courtesy of Sports Interaction.

The team recently added Larry Johnson and Willie Parker to a backfield that includes Clinton Portis.  And now comes word that Brian Westbrook has been invited for a visit.

Westbrook comes highly recommended by his former Eagles teammate, Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb, who apparently has made his case for the running back since McNabb was acquired by Washington in a trade, a source told ESPN.com.

For right now, Westbrook looks as if he will play for the St. Louis Rams.  The Redskins level of interest in Westbrook is unknown though the invite is certainly telling.

Westbrook has suffered knee and ankle injuries, as well as multiple concussions during his career.
