Week 8 NFL odds and tips are now available from Gambling911.com.  Be sure to visit our Sportsbook Reviews page for all the latest news and information about your favorite online sportsbooks.

When we examine last week's line variances at Sports Interaction, Gambling911.com has found that the favorite went 4-0.  Why?  Because Sports Interaction tends to encourage underdog betting more aggressively than most of their counterparts.

The variations in odds found at Sports Interaction included the following:

Steelers -5 ½ - SIA wasn't the only book to list this line above a number of others that had the Steelers at -4.  Some books had the line at -6.  The favored Steelers did win.

Green Bay -9 ½ - Everyone else 9 or lower except for 5Dimes and the favorite won.

New York Jets -6 ½ - Everyone else had -6 or lower and the favorite wins

New Orleans -7 - More than 60 percent of the books had -6 ½ and the favorite won.

A preliminary review of Week 8 NFL odds shows that Sports Interaction once again is listing some games a half point higher than most of their counterparts.

Dallas -10 - Most of the recreational books had the Cowboys at -10 while the others had Dallas at -9 ½.

The Indianapolis Colts are -13 favorites at home against San Francisco while most books had -12 ½.

In both these games, the early edge seems to be going to Dallas and Indianapolis but we will keep close tabs on this situation as the weekend nears.

We should also note that SIA has the lowest line on the Oakland Raiders vs. San Diego Chargers game, which is unusual for them.  This seems to suggest they believe Oakland could cover.
