Following two tough luck losses in a row, Gambling911.com enjoyed a pretty solid win with the Red Sox in the evening game hosting the New York Mets.

It's interesting to note that the one thing that really made us pull the trigger didn't exactly come to fruition. Heading into this game, Mets starter Max Scherzer had allowed four homers by Justin Turner (.289 with 15 home runs on the season) and Turner was 6-for-15 off of Scherzer.  Saturday night. Turner failed to even get a hit off of Scherzer in three tries.  Turner made up for it later in the 7th inning against Trevor Gott, hitting a two-run homer.

Alek Manoah (2-8, 6.18 ERA) will start for Toronto.  Seattle Mariners career statistics vs. Manoah are just 9 for 48 (.188).  Cal Raleigh has probably had the most success against him but is just .221 on the season.  He does have 14 home runs.  And the only two homers Manoah has allowed against the Mariners current lineup come courtesy of Raleigh.

Manoah allowed four runs his last start against the Padres July 18 before heading off to rehab.  He did dominate the Tigers the game prior.  Manoah was sent packing back in June following a very bad set of starts that contributed to his 6.18 ERA.

Bryan Woo will start for Seattle.  He is 1-2 with a 4.74 ERA.  Woo lost to the Twins his last start and has not had a win since June 22.

The total on this game is 8.5.  Though the Under may seem tempting, the total has moved up a bit and that's enough to scare us off.

Seattle is 8-2 in this series.

Twins starter Bailey Ober (6-4, 2.74 ERA) has allowed just 12 hits off of 76 at bats (.158) versus the current Chicago White Sox lineup.  Andrew Vaughn has two of the three home runs off of him but is just 2 for 12 against Bailey.  He's a modest .244 on the season with 12 home runs.

Ober is coming off a win against Seattle, allowing three runs on seven hits over his six innings of work.  He surrendered just one run in six innings versus the Orioles but did not factor into the decision in the start prior.

Lucas Giolito is 6-6 with a 3.96 ERA.  He's allowed just 31 hits in 156 at bats against the Twins current lineup (.199) with ZERO home runs scored.

Giolito surrendered eight runs and three homers in 3 2/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Mets.  We'd expect a nice bounce back from him here.

And while both these starters have the ability to go deep, the bullpens for both teams are among the worst currently.

The White Sox have not score more than four runs in six of their last ten games.  And they have allowed four or fewer in half of their last ten.

Minnesota, on the other hand, has been scoring too many runs to go with the UNDER here.

Minnesota has won six of the last nine against the White Sox.

Atlanta Braves career statistics vs. Julio Teheran are 22 for 97 (.227) though he's only faced eight of those in the current lineup.  Marcell Ozuna has three of the four home runs against him and has 18 so far on the season.

Teheran is capable of pitching into the 6th inning and from there the Brewers bullpen, best in the nation currently, can kick in.

Teheran has not had a win since June 16 and is coming off a loss versus the Phillies his last start.  He yielded four runs over 4 2/3 innings.  Before that he got shelled for six runs over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Bryce Elder is 7-2 with a 3.31 ERA.  He has not had a win in his last two starts.

We will not have any plays today.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
