We are right at our ceiling when it comes to the Royals-Guardians game Saturday.  That line has Cleveland at -180.  We could have gotten them as low as -165 overnight.

The Royals are just a bad team.

Gavin Williams (0-1, 3.79 ERA) starts for Cleveland Saturday.  He's already fired seven shutout innings against these Royals in his second start on June 27 but did not ultimately factor into the decision.

He's coming off a loss to the Atlanta Braves where he surrendered four runs in 6 1/3 innings.  Prior to the game against the Royals, Williams took a no-decision after giving up four runs over 5 2/3 innings in his debut against the Athletics.

This K.C. lineup ranks worst in MLB over the past 30 days.  They will start Brady Singer, who is 5-7 with a 5.52 ERA.

He is coming into this game with back-to-back quality starts including a rout of the Dodgers his last start.

Singer has allowed 32 hits in 99 at bats versus this current Cleveland lineup.  Jose Ramirez is 8 for 18 against him and has 14 home runs so far this season.  He's hit two off of Singer.

Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez have also been hot against Singer.

The Royals are 18-48 in their last 66 games vs. a right-handed starter.

The Guardians are 7-1 in their last 8 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.

Cleveland is 7-3 against KC in their last ten games. They are winning 60% of their games overall.

Take Cleveland -180 here.

Phillies @ Marlins

Braxton Garrett (4-2, 3.61 ERA) gave the Marlins 5 2/3 solid innings, allowing three runs, Monday against the Cardinals but did not factor into the decision.

Miami's offense has been solid against lefty pitchers. Lefty Ranger Suarez starts for Philadelphia.  He's 2-3 with a 3.67 ERA. Suarez was tagged for five runs in 5 1/3 innings by the Nationals on Sunday but did limit the Cubs to one run in 7 1/3 innings and struck out eight in a win before that.

Suarez has only permitted 9 hits in 42 at bats versus the current Marlins lineup.

This one is a difficult one to call despite Garrett's hot pitching of late.  One has to believe Suarez will come into the game with his all.

Reds @ Brewers

Both teams are winning better than 70% of their games of late but the Brewers have gone 8-2 against the Reds in their last ten meetings.

Cincinnati starts Luke Weaver, who allowed two runs over five innings on Monday in a win over the Nationals but has not pitched particularly good otherwise.  He's 2-2 with a 6.72 ERA.

Christian Yelich (.286 with 11 homers on the season) has two home runs against Weaver.   Though a relatively small sampling, Brewers career statistics vs. Weaver are 11 of 38 (.289).

Milwaukee starts Colin Rea, who is 5-4 with a 4.40 ERA.  He pitched two-run ball for 6 2/3 innings to earn a win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Jake Fraley is 3-for-3 against him with one being a home run.  Fraley is .275 on the season with 11 homers.

The Reds lineup is 7 for 25 against Rea (.280).

Cincinnati has scored 5 or more runs in six of their last ten games.  The Brewers have scored 6 or more runs in six of their last seven overall.

The Reds are 18-3 in their last 21 road games vs. a right-handed starter.

The Brewers are 6-2 in their last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter.
