Some of Australia's most gorgeous people turned out to celebrate at majority owner Daniel Tzvetkoff's Zuri Bar and Lounge while Tzvetkoff himself languished in a US prison cell, quite possibly facing a 75 year sentence.

From the Courier Mail:

Among those walking the white carpet were The Biggest Loser host Hayley Lewis, Channel Ten presenters Amanda McLeay and Georgina Lewis, Brisbane Lion Brent Staker and Australia's greatest beach volleyballer Natalie Cook.

Just the sort of clientele for which Daniel Tzvetkoff had yearned (and struggled) to attract to Zuri after it opened.

Tzvetkoff is accused of money laundering related to his online gambling payment processing business.  The Australian entrepreneur was picked up last month while attending a Las Vegas conference.  Tzvetkoff was deemed a "flight risk" by a New York judge and denied bail.

Online poker rooms have alleged Tzvetkoff scammed them out of millions of dollars.

Few operators Gambling911.com has spoken to feel disheartened over the young Internet entrepreneur's plight.
