Following last Sunday's huge win on a bad call in the Pittsburgh/San Diego game, it appears the online bookies may have given it all back, at least with the Sunday afternoon games.

No team during the first half of the day had more betting action than the New England Patriots, and they won handily against the Miami Dolphins.

The second most bet on team of the day was the New York Jets, but more so with the money line.  Sure enough, the Jets became the first team of the season to defeat the Tennessee Titans and by doing so, bookies lost huge on the +200 or better moneyline.

Another of the big wins for gamblers:  The New York Giants, who managed once again to dismantle their opponent - this time the Arizona Cardinals.

Buffalo and Baltimore were also targeted to win by the betting public, though neither team were going to cause substantial damage.

If there was any bright spot Sunday for the bookies, it was that Cleveland lost to Houston.  The Browns were pretty consistently the 4th or 5th most bet on team across the board.

An Indianapolis Colts loss Against The Spread Sunday night would help the books to get back some of their enormous early losses.  At the time of this report, the Chargers were up by 7 points heading into half time, but that was hardly a comfortable lead against Peyton Manning's club.
