Bookies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area are prevalent as this is a pretty big sports town.  They love their Vikings no matter how poor the team has played in recent years.

Bookies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area have caught on to the vast number of Pay Per Head shops located offshore in order to help them to better manage their respective businesses.   Sports betting has become more mainstream now that the US Supreme Court has ruled to abolish decades of prohibition of the activity.  And Minnesota residents do not currently have regulated sports betting.

Looking for a bookie in this region?

Look no further than popular sports bars the likes of uber popular Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar & Grill on Central Avenue or the Lyndale Tap House on the street it is named after.  Bunny’s Bar & Grill is another popular hangout for bookies and would be bookies.

Minnesota makes gambling and bookmaking a misdemeanor in the state though authorities do tend to be tough on Mob-linked bookmaking shops.

When one thinks of old time mobsters, Minneapolis probably wouldn’t be first to come to mind.  Yet the city does enjoy a colorful past through its ties to organized crime.

In Minneapolis, the underworld was dominated by local gangs of the Irish mob, flanked by Jewish gangsters and by corrupt cops and politicians from the Republican, Democratic and Farmer-Labor Parties, according to an entry in Wikipedia.

Currently, the Capra/Patterson syndicate controls all nationally sanctioned crime activities in the Twin Cities with gambling being their primary source of income.
