Traffic trended down at seven of the Top 10 Global bookmaker sites last week according to BetRanking.com.

Number 1 Betfair continued to lead atop the rankings, but slipped further down across the major Web traffic panel services, giving down-but-closing number 2 Bet365 an opportunity to close the distance between the two top sports books in unique global visitors.

William Hill, Bwin and Ladbrokes rounded out the rest of the top 5 websites in terms of overall global bookmaker traffic.

In the top 10, only Ladbrokes, #6 Betclic and #7 Unibet saw week-over-week gains in unique visitors to their sites.

Most of those bookmaker websites ranking among the lower top 20 realized increases in traffic.

The upcoming week results could see increases in activity as a result of Ryder Cup betting.
