The fighter reportedly blew through the cash in just a four-day period back in July of 2012. Tarver utilized casino markers (which are essentially an IOU).

The Wynn Las Vegas had filed a lawsuit against Tarver after he failed to pay the casino.  The boxer was also a “no show” in court to answer to the Wynn complaint.

Tarver was taken into custody in Clearwater, Florida on the Nevada warrant where he is being held on $215,425 bail.

Tarver is a former WBC, WBA and IBF champion.
