CAMS Names Former Nevada Gaming Control Head Mark Lipparelli Advisor

Los Angeles  – CAMS, LLC, the leader in providing online operators with payment connectivity and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification services, today announced that Mark Lipparelli has been engaged by the company as an advisor. The company will look to him for strategic guidance as they navigate the newly-regulated internet gambling industry.

Lipparelli recently completed a four year term with the Nevada State Gaming Control Board where he was instrumental in the approval of a regulatory framework for Internet Gambling. During his tenure, he served as Board Chairman for 2011 and 2012.

“Mark adds an additional layer of business acumen to our efforts,” said Matthew Katz, CEO of CAMS. “His vision for Nevada enabled the industry to move forward and provided the first licensed and regulated market for online gambling in the US. We will look to him for guidance as the industry continues to expand and evolve.”

Prior to his service to the State of Nevada, Lipparelli founded Gioco Ventures, LLC, a development stage technology company. Earlier in his career, he served in senior management positions for many of the gaming industry’s leading technology companies including Bally Technologies, Shuffle Master and Casino Data Systems. He also serves as an advisor to several gaming, entertainment and investment entities.
