Cheap Air Fares to Las Vegas

Gambling911.com has your cheap air fares to Las Vegas from the New York City metropolitan area along with Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston and Hartford.  These fares are for the month of December 2011.  Fares are based on Wednesday thru Tuesday travel (round trip).  When in Las Vegas, $42 per night weekday rates and $72 per night weekend rates at the fabulous South Point Hotel Casino and Spa here.

New York City/Newark to Las Vegas –

From Wednesday December 7 thru the 13th and the 14th thru 20th out of JFK, Virgin America had the cheapest nonstop fare of $318 and well worth the price.  If would like to pay $299 round trip with a stopover in Chicago both ways, Spirit had that fare but Gambling911.com thinks the $19 more nonstop, especially on Virgin, is well worth taking.  You’ll end up spending more on Spirit when all is said and done any way as they charge, not just for checked baggage, but also for overhead.  We at Gambling911.com absolutely LOVE Virgin America.  If you plan on flying to Vegas during the Christmas weekend, Delta Air Lines had a flight that probably won’t last long nonstop $387 Wednesday the 21st thru Tuesday the 27th

LaGuardia had stops only that we could find for this period with a $288 fare on Spirit and a $318 fare on Frontier.  The 14th thru 20th had a similar $288 fare on Spirit through Chicago and $332 on other major carriers.

Newark also had a one stop in Phoenix on US Airways for $318.  Internet could be included on this flight.  Continental nonstop flights were starting at $358 round trip.  These fares on both US Airways and Continental were for the two periods December 7 thru 13th and the 14th thru 20th.  December 21 thru December 27 you were looking to pay $427 roundtrip but nonstop.  This is pretty much the average price for various day combos over this period with higher rates during peak travel days.

Boston Cheap Fares to Las Vegas –

$318 on JetBlue nonstop Wednesday thru Tuesday.

$361 to $392 with a stopover on US Airways depending on time and availability during the Christmas Weekend.  Nonstop flights were around $538 round trip.

Hartford Cheap Fares to Las Vegas –

$238 on United with one stop Wednesday thru Tuesday of the next week.

$267 December 14th thru 20th.

$296 was a really good deal on Continental during the Christmas weekend.  Mix and match your days over that period.  There were only a handful of tickets left at that price.  Other fares were $403 to $466 and we suspect these were not going to last very long.  There were fares around $460 on Southwest that probably were not going to be available for long.  Most fares, most times on Southwest were heading over $500.

Philadelphia Cheap Fares to Las Vegas –

$258 nonstop on US Airways.  This is their hub.

$300 with one stop on Delta during the Christmas weekend, otherwise be prepared to pay around $464 and upwards for a nonstop.

Washington, DC Cheap Fares to Las Vegas –

$238 out of BWI on United with one stop.  Add $10 to US Airways with a stopover.  $318 out of IAD.  $404 to $424 with stopovers during the Christmas holiday season assuming a Wednesday thru Tuesday travel period.  There could be (and likely will be) variations in pricing when checking different day combos.
