He’ll be the face behind the Las Vegas Sands in those two markets.

Sands, the largest Las Vegas-based casino operator in Macau, said in a statement that it hoped to cash in on Beckham’s popularity in the region.

Las Vegas Sands president and chief operating officer Michael Leven said in a statement that the Beckham brand would help the firm, “as we aggressively explore opportunities to further expand our presence in Asia.”

David Beckham is one of the most widely recognized names in the sport today.  He was the first English player to win league titles in four countries.
