The Hard Rock Casino plans to open a small casino in Atlantic City, the US second largest casino destination.

Initial plans call for a new $275 million casino in Atlantic City in the spring of 2014.

The Seminole Indians of Florida, who own the Hard Rock Casino chain, said they will still need some local government approval.

Three small casinos are being planned for Atlantic City with the Hard Rock looking to operate one of the new establishments.
