Hong Kong police announced Monday the arrests of 4 individuals ages 18 through 30 for the brutal hacking death of alleged triad boss. Only the age (30) and surname (Tse) of the victime were disclosed.
The attack occurred outside a hospital in front of many onlookers. One of the strikes nearly disemboweled the victim.
"It was horrible... his belly was wide open and his intestines were hanging out," a passer-by told the Standard.
News footage showed blood splattered all around the crime scene.
Triads Hong Kong's notorious triads have a hand in extortion rackets, prostitution, drugs and copyright piracy. More recently, police arrested nearly 1200 people with ties to a triad that ran illegal gambling dens.
