How Much is Tua Worth on the Spread?
Wednesday afternoon, the Dolphins were 9-point underdogs to Buffalo. Moments after it was announced that Tua Tagovailoa would not play, and Skylar Thompson would start, the spread moved to Bills -13. That's right folks, Tua is worth a massive four points on the spread.
The Bengals-Ravens game reflects a similar situation. Even though Lamar Jackson hasn’t officially been ruled out, the oddsmakers (and bettors) aren’t expecting him to play.
Even if he does, Jackson claims his left knee "remainx unstable".

I've suffered a PCL grade 2 sprain on the borderline of a strain 3. There is still inflammation surrounding my knee and my knee remains unstable.
"I'm still in good spirits, as I continue with treatments on the road to recovery. I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything but I can't give a 100% of myself to my guys and fans I'm still hopeful we still have a chance."
He also missed his 17th straight practice Thursday.
The sprained PCL injury occurred in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos after Jackson was sacked by Jonathon Cooper.
Cincinnati surfaced as a 5.5-point favorite in that game, but over the course of the last four days the spread has ballooned to -9. By Thursday night, the Bengals were a -9.5 favorite.
