A Sportsbook.com member was rewarded with a $2,500.00 payout on just $24.00 in Indy 500 wagers.

The big money winner, a native of California, entered the Sportsbook.com Brickyard Cash Bash promotion correctly predicted that Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon and Danica Patrick would finish first, second and third in Sunday's race. As a reward for hitting the trifecta, the promotion offered a $2,500.00 prize.

"We continue to give our members the most ways to win big from a small stake," said Sportsbook.com spokesman, Dave Staley. "We are continually offering great promotions and contests and this is just another way that our members can win.

"We've been running a similar Trifecta promotion for all NASCAR Sprint Cup point races and members have claimed the cash reward several times already this season."

Staley also pointed out that a second member correctly predicted the Indy 500 Trifecta on Sunday but failed to meet the minimum $10.00 betting requirement to be eligible for the cash prize.

"These promotions are easy to hit," he added. "People just have to enter and meet a small betting requirement of anywhere from $5.00 to $10.00 depending on the promotion."
