John Pappas of the Poker Players Alliance made the Bluff Poker Power 20The PPA has done plenty this past year to be certain but where on Earth is Joe Brennan Jr?

The Irish red-headed step child and "more square than Pappas" has done plenty for the online poker world over the past year, but once again he gets zero respect (less respect than Rodney Dangerfield).  Perhaps an image makeover is in order.

Some things I would coach Joe on:

*Be more personable and not so aloof.

*Don't complain so much.  Be more positive.

*Have a drink or two.  Don't be a wuss.

*Get out of that suit once in a while.

*Loosen that tie.

*Stop moping.

*Get more animated.

*Smile more.

*Don't leave London when the partying is just about to start.

*It's okay to look at other women.  I wore a low cut dress that night at Prima Pasta just for YOU and not a single look until after you finally had your first drink of alcohol in 9 months.  It doesn't mean we are going to have sex.  We know you are faithful.  Lighten up.

Joe, you and I hold the unusual honor of being two of the only people who have gone to Costa Rica and not gotten laid.  The scary thing is I actually TRIED.

Even after you accomplish all these things you probably still won't make the list but it's not all about popularity.

Gambling911.com doesn't make any top 20 lists, yet we are still among the most trafficked websites in the industry bar none.  Have you checked our search rankings for the Super Bowl of late boys and girls?

Still love ya Sweetie, more so than anyone who is actually on the list.....except for maybe Barney Frank.  And you will always be on MY top 20.

A few of the Gambling911.com staff will be cursing you out again this coming Tuesday...so if you feel needles prickling your body, it's US.

Kicking off the year 2009, Brennan Jr. through his The Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association was instrumental in preventing the commonwealth of Kentucky from seizing some 141 online gambling, including poker room, website URLs.  His organization is working at the state level in New Jersey to help get online poker legalized there (along with sports betting) and, through his efforts on the federal level, the US Courts now realize that legislation for online gambling should be recognized individually by state.

I just arrived in Pensacola this week where I will be setting up my new office and I feel just as out of place as Joe Brennan in this hick town after being in Miami Beach the past 7 years.  Can't wait for them to erect that statue of me downtown though.
