CAP Founder Draws Holocaust Analogy to CAP/GPWA Feud

In a statement issued by ***** ******, co-organizer of Casino Affiliates Programs, the group claims it has done nothing to instigate what it deems as "attacks" by the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association (GPWA), a competing company.  ***** expressed outrage over the GPWA for posting the home address of another co-organizer along with allegations that CAP has ownership in what is now considered a "rogue" online poker room, CardSpike.com.

Members of both organizations have called for a "truce" in the war of words.

"There have been absolutely no negative threads at CAP about GPWA/APCW until they published the home address of the Professor (co-organizer, Lou Fabioni) and endangered him and his family. This was a cowardly and sick thing to do to anyone. At some point you can no longer be silent when you are under constant harassment and attack and we made our one and only post on the matter."

The GPWA's Michael Corfman insists that the documents posted on a slickly produced video detailing the controversy were obtained from the Florida Department of State Corporations and should not have displayed Fabioni's home address.

Fabioni has since referred claimed Corfman was engaging in "criminal behavior" by posting the said documents that are in fact readily available from Sunbiz.org.

An inflamed ***** continued with his statement:

"GPWA has been actively trying to damage both CAP and its employees for weeks. It started with polls at GPWA about who's been banned at CAP and has been non-stop ever since. During that time we did not have one negative thread or poll about GPWA, APCW, Michael or J Todd or anyone in their organization here at CAP. If there is any doubt of that check the archives. GPWA, on the other hand had numerous slanderous and insulting threads and posts about CAP and their senior staff were seen actively fanning the flames and encouraging more posts by a small segment of their members who gravitate towards hostility and negativity. "If they were a professional organization they would have stepped in and stopped that vile behavior. That's what we at CAP do. We don't allow slander or sniper attacks here and that's been stated and proven over the years. The few people that we actually have banned were shown the door for this sort of hostile behavior.

"APCW has run a series of slanderous attacks in their videos on both CAP and The Professor and ******. On CAPTV we have aired nothing negative or hostile about the GPWA or APCW. Again they have been the sole aggressor and appear to be doing their best to damage our business and community."

*****, who is of Huguenot descent, then went on to seemingly compare the GPWA organizers to Nazis.

"Accusing CAP of poor behavior towards GPWA /APCW is akin to saying the holocaust had two sides and the Nazis must have acted under provocation or misconception. Sometimes what wrong is wrong and there ARENT two sides to the equation."

A member of the CAP forum found that analogy in bad taste.

"The Nazi analogy demeans the whole post," said the member, who added that CAP has been helpful in aiding him in the past.

Meanwhile,  ***** has banned all GPWA affiliated parties from attending his CAP event.  The latest casualty was Eric Almquist, a GPWA employee.

"I'm also banned and was given notice via email," Mr. Almquist told Gambling911.com.  "I gave Warren a chance to retract before making public my absence from the conference hall. I expressed to him I have 0 involvement in the issue and only want to keep friendships and networking contacts in place. I said my awkwardness and inconvenience will only hurt everyone. I'm arranging to be readily available and don't think for a moment I'll be kept out of the parties."

But ***** has reportedly vowed to keep Almquist and associates of the GPWA, including popular representative, Rebecca Liggero, out of the CAP free parties during their London event later this month.
