Las Vegas Professional Sports Bettor Billy Walters Files Lawsuit
LAS VEGAS (Associated Press) -- A lawsuit filed by Las Vegas sports betting giant Bill Walters claims people are being tricked into thinking they're buying betting advice from him.
Waters filed suit Wednesday in U.S. District Court for Nevada. He is seeking a temporary restraining order to have websites shut down.
The Las Vegas Sun reports the websites are identified as billywalterssportspicks.com and billywalterssportsbettingpicks.com.
Walters says in the lawsuit he has earned hundreds of millions of dollars from sports betting and gambling. He says he doesn't share his betting picks with the public or others in sports betting.
The defendants include Brad Greenberg and Michael Cooper. None of the defendants has responded to the lawsuit.
