The 2009 Latin Series of Poker will take place this coming August with an unprecedented $500,000 guaranteed payout. The best thing about this tournament is that the payout will be especially large compared to the ratio of those playing (expected to be just a few hundred).
A number of poker websites will be promoting the event, offering their readers a chance to win a free trip to the tournament location of Panama City, Panama, and the opportunity to win the huge cash prize.
