Lou Fabiano Removed from CAC Board of Advisors
Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. announced that affiliate ethics in the gaming industry will be discussed at the 2009 Casino Affiliate Convention. The event will take place at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam on March 30-31, 2009.
Recent turbulence in the casino affiliate industry has shattered confidence among both affiliates as well as affiliate managers. Exposed business activities of third party forums and portals that were deemed both neutral and objective have adversely affected confidence in the gaming affiliate market.
In order to ascertain the effects of these developments and how best the industry can move forward, the seventh annual Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam will discuss the issues in depth.
One of the developments revealed to Gambling911.com is that Casino Affiliate Programs co-organizer, Lou Fabiono, will no longer be a part of the CAC Board of Advisors. Fabiono has come under fire for his association with a "rogue" online poker room, CardSpike.com, in which an alleged "ownership" agreement was revealed in direct conflict with CAP. Fabiono claims to have resigned from CAP in recent days.
CAC2009 Amsterdam one of the largest business conferences and trade shows for the gaming industry. Hundreds of affiliates are usually in attendance. Over 1000 delegates attended the 2008 event.
To attract even larger crowds of affiliates to the Amsterdam event, the March 30-31, 2009 event offers free attendance to affiliates that are members of the GPWA, PokerAffiliateListings, and/or Affiliate Guard Dog. Affiliates will need to register on the website, but there is no fee.
Also to be covered are better ways to protect both affiliates and the industry from predators and actions deemed inappropriate.
