New Jersey Mobster Louis ‘Big Lou’ Fazzini Gets Nearly 5 Years Jail Time

New Jersey mobster Louis “Big Lou” Fazzini has been sentenced to 55 months behind bars after pleading guilty this past October to racketeering and conspiracy connected to a Mob-controlled gambling operation.
Fazzini had previously served four years prison time after being convicted of similar charges in 1999.
He was initiated into the Philadelphia mob with Joseph Ligambi presiding over Fazzini's making ceremony, according to the Inquirer.
Fazzini recounted the ceremony in a taped phone conversation recorded by federal authorities.
"When I got straightened out, you either knew you were getting straightened out (meaning initiated) or you're getting clipped (meaning murdered). One of the f..ing two."
