ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. –  (Associated Press) - A Morris County woman has won New Jersey's largest Internet gambling jackpot, a $1.3 million payout from an online slots game.

Cathy Ruela was playing the "Millionaire Genie" game on the Harrahscasino.com site on Nov. 6 when the genie on her computer screen broke open the chains on a treasure chest and a box popped up, announcing she had won a jackpot of more than $1.3 million.

The 31-year-old says she has been playing sporadically since February, usually about $20 or $30 at a time.

Her family will use the money to pay off their mortgage, set up a college fund for their son, and go on a winter vacation.

The jackpot came just before the anniversary of Internet gambling in New Jersey, one of three states where it's legal.
