Attorney General Eric Schneiderman ruled earlier this month that both DFS firms must stop taking bets from New York State citizens, referring to the activity as “illegal gambling”.  The two companies countered by insisting what they offer are “games of skill” as opposed to gambling.

Judge Manuel Mendez was set to render his decision Wednesday shortly after Noon EST as to whether FanDuel and DraftKings can continue operating in New York.  Reporter Williams was in the courtroom covering the matter.

Schneiderman "hammered DraftKings and FanDuel with case law as part of his MEMORANDUM OF LAW IN OPPOSITION TO FANDUEL’S MOTION FOR A PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION", notes Williams.

Pages 35 and 36 contain "the meaty part of the Attorney General's argument", Willams advises.

All related court filings can be found here.
