Pentagon Employees Spent Nearly $1 Million Gambling, Prostitutes

An IRS audit has revealed that Pentagon employees were found to be using their work issued credit cards for more than work-related travel.

Online gambling, casino gambling, prostitutes and strip clubs, to the tune of nearly $1 million, or $952,258 to be exact.

"Clearly, the behavior displayed by these individuals neither comports with our values nor represents the good service of the vast majority of [our] service members or DOD civilians,” a defense official told ABC News.

The audit found 4,437 transactions at casinos and 900 additional transactions at adult entertainment establishments during a period between July 2013 and July 2014.
