Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot drawing could result in a record $500 million win….assuming someone has the winning ticket (tickets).
Saturday’s drawing for $325 million did not result in any winning tickets.
For the 15th consecutive time, no players matched the winning numbers, which were 22, 32, 37, 44, 50 and Powerball 34.
With the added publicity, more people are now purchasing the Powerball tickets, resulting in an increased cash prize.
A single winner in Wednesday's drawing who took a lump sum payment would receive $360 million before taxes.
