Ravens Ray Rice Marries Fiancee One Day After Indictment for Beating Her

ESPN was reporting Saturday that Ravens running back Ray Rice has married his fiancée a day after being indicted for beating her in an Atlantic City casino.

Rice was indicted Thursday on aggravated assault charge stemming from an altercation with Janay Palmer at the Revel Casino.

Rice could face up to five years behind bars for the alleged assault.

Palmer’s attorney claims that no crime had occurred that night although video surveillance obtained by TMZ.com seems to suggest otherwise.  The couple is said to be in counseling.
The Ravens issued a statement saying "we know there is more to Ray Rice than this one incident."

Palmer will not have to testify against Rice since a spouse cannot be forced to testify against the other.
