The RCMP were expected to release information pertaining to Platinum Sportsbook following a much publicized raid during a Super Bowl party last month.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), made up of officers from the RCMP, OPP, York, Toronto, Durham and Peel police have made “significant developments” in the investigation, according to the Globe.  A press conference was anticipated by 2 pm ET Tuesday afternoon.

The RCMP would not immediately confirm if search warrants issued across the Greater Toronto Area were connected to the ongoing investigation.

The PlatinumSB.com was seized by authorities with a message showing the RCMP seal.  The book is believed to still be in operation however.
