San Diego Casinos Raided: Not ‘Terrorist Related’

Law enforcement dressed in full raid gear were in the process of raiding two San Diego casinos Wednesday shortly before 9 am this morning.

Seven Mile Casino on Bay Boulevard in Chula Vista and the Black Jack Palomar Casino on El Cajon Boulevard and Oregon Street were targeted.

Witnesses to the scene say that FBI agents were in full raid gear.

FBI spokesperson Special Agent Darrell Foxworth said the raid was not terrorism related but could not provide more details.

Dan Hom, spokesperson for Seven Mile Casino, told NBC 7 they aren't aware of what the accusations are at this point given how many federal agencies were involved in the raid.
