Our sister site DFS911.com has raised the question: Is Sheldon Adelson behind Georgia’s recently announced probe into the Daily Fantasy Sports sector?

The investigation just happens to coincide with news that casino billionaire and GOP mega donor Sheldon Adelson is now jockeying to build a $2 billion casino in Downtown Atlanta.  Adelson is behind efforts to stop the spread of online gambling in the United States, and some say Daily Fantasy Sports is a form of Web gambling.

So is it possible Adelson sees the likes of DraftKings and FanDuel as a viable threat to his own business empire?

DFS911.com attempts to get to the bottom of this matter here.
