Three other individuals tied to what authorities call a billion dollar sports betting business were found guilty in an Oklahoma City federal court.

Rodger Bramley, 73, of Plano, Texas; Kelley Diebner, 43, of Houston; and Leon Moran Jr. 54, of Kingsburg, Calif., were found guilty in Oklahoma City federal court of racketeering conspiracy, conducting an illegal gambling business and money laundering conspiracy.

Earlier this month, the highly respected owner of Legends Sports, Bartice “Luke” King of Spring, Texas, was found guilty of operating an illegal betting business, however, a jury did not find King, a father of seven, guilty of the more serious crime of racketeering.

During its more than 15 year existence, Legends Sports prided itself on paving the way for offshore sportsbook regulation, becoming the first business of its kind to obtain a Costa Rica gambling license.  Legends ultimately became disheartened with the process and moved to Panama City, Panama where it employed over 100 staff members in a modern state of the art three-story office complex (pictured).

Each of the men await sentencing.  King’s attorneys hope to get their client on house arrest in order that he may spend time with his small children.

Football is king in Texas. We won't pretend to suggest another sport reigns superior despite every major league having one or more teams in the Lone Star State. San Antonio may be a rare exception to the rule....and there's a new sheriff in town to give the Spurs a run for their money.
