Tiger Woods is considering doing a Q&A interview with Oprah Winfrey on her popular television show.  Reports surfaced on Monday and at least one online bookmaker has already posted odds on the event.

It seems almost inevitable that Tiger Woods will end up on one of the leading talk shows.  The more he keeps quiet the worse it seems to get for him.

A source close to Tiger Woods revealed "Tiger absolutely hates talking about his private life but these are desperate times. Going on television is a high risk strategy but could be the only way out for him. His image is taking a real hit."

With the scorecard currently standing at six, bookies Paddy Power have made Oprah the 1/2 favourite to get Tiger on the couch. Comedienne and fellow television hostess Ellen DeGeneres is the second favourite on Paddy Power's list at 4/1 to land an interview with the pro followed by Larry King at 5/1.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said, "The pressure is on Tiger to nip the rumours in the bud and come clean once and for all. As chat shows go it really doesn't get much bigger than Oprah but Tiger could decide he has more in common with funnyman David Letterman who, only a few weeks ago, chose to apologise to his own wife Regina on his show!"

Who will Tiger give a televised interview to?

  1/2     Oprah

  4/1     Ellen DeGeneres

  5/1     Larry King
