TonyBet Player Claims Balance Confiscated: Forced to Keep Gambling
An Estonia-based online sportsbook founded by professional poker player and would be politician Antanas Guoga (better known as Tony G) has reportedly confiscated the wagering account of a player to the tune of $3577.
After requesting a payout, he was told that the cashier was having technical problems and so he continued playing, according to the complaint filed at SportsBookReview.com.
At this point, the player stated that TonyBet sent him an email informing him that his account was closed due to the IP addresses associated with his account.
While the customer denies any wrongdoing, the matter is currently under investigation.
SportsBookReview has graded Tony Bet with a D on its scale of A through F.
