*New York State Looks to Add 4 New Casinos - Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday he would like to see four new casinos in New York state — up from three — in an initial expansion round as he seeks a deal with the legislature on a constitutional amendment to legalize table games like poker, roulette and craps in New York.
The Democratic governor made the overture a day after announcing a $408 million deal with the Seneca Nation of Indians on payments owed to the state that resolves a multiyear dispute over gambling revenue.
Cuomo confirmed Saturday that this deal could move forward even without voter approval.
